At Coolum at the Beach, we believe that a great holiday shouldn't come at the expense of our beautiful environment. That's why we are proud to have commissioned a major solar project, allowing us to power our resort with the clean, renewable energy of the Sunshine Coast.

In May 2025, we installed an extensive solar panel system on our rooftops. This significant investment is a testament to our ongoing commitment to a greener planet. As a guest, this means you can enjoy all the comforts of our modern apartments and villas, from air-conditioning and unlimited Wi-Fi to our sparkling heated pools, knowing your holiday is being powered by sunshine.

Our solar installation is just one of the many steps we are taking to ensure our resort has a positive impact on both our guests and the environment. We are also actively working towards Sustainable Tourism Accreditation through the Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC) and the Australian Tourism Industry Council (ATIC). This program is a rigorous, third-party certification that confirms our commitment to best-practice sustainability.
